One of the smallest accredited zoos in the country. Nearly 400 specimens of birds, mammals, and reptiles representing more than 80 species are housed in natural habitats. The zoo features two parts. One side of the zoo you can drive past and see the animals, then park and walk through the other section of the zoo. A new Eagle exhibit was opened in June 2001. The zoo also features exceptional botanical displays and spectacular holiday lights. Society memberships available. Calssroom visits and tours available.
