Eureka Downs- The oldest location for Horse Racing in the State of Kansas dating back to Oct. 2, 1872 when the first horse race took place. Eureka is "The Horse Racing Capital of Kansas". Experience live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Races in the Heart of the Flint Hills.

Gates open at 11:45am and post time is 12:30pm. Pari-mutual betting, drinks, and concession available. Call 620-583-5528 to reserve a table in the air conditioned smoke free Turf Club.
Admission is $3 and kids get in free.
This year Eureka Downs will be running non pari-mutuel due to the State not supporting the gaming bill that would allow us to generate enough funds continue offering the service. Feel free to contact your representatives in Topeka if you are not happy with the changes.
