Items such as Band organs, Juke Boxes, Arcade Machines, Carousel Horses, Slot Machines, Pinball Games and Antique Music Boxes are just some of the wonders that can be found here. |

| This area is located off of Ehlers Road on Bluemont Drive (head for the water tower with the Little Apple logo). The overlook is actually a part of Goodnow Park and City-owned land used for domestic water storage. The site offers a panoramic view of the original plat of the community. To the West, a good portion of the campus can also be viewed. If you are just out exploring our community, this site is a must see. This area makes a great place to go and eat your lunch. There are several tables placed throughout the area with parking just a few feet away. |

The perimeter trail is used by many to increase their level of fitness or simply to enjoy some of the natural beauty and wildlife of the park as it twists through sections of naturalized Kansas lowland areas. Family and group gatherings occur frequently at the two covered picnic shelters and plenty of open space remains for individual or group activities. |

Glimpse into the life of Isaac Goodnow, a leader in the free-state movement and one of the founders of the town of Manhattan. He later established the college, Bluemont College, which became Kansas State University. A prominent farmer and successful businessman, Goodnow and his wife, Ellen, built this unique stone farmhouse in the 1860s. Isaac and Ellen's interest in education and nature is reflected in the hundreds of objects they collected. |

| Pillsbury Crossing's 59 acres are among the most scenic areas of the northern Flint Hills region. During normal stream flow, you may canoe, kayak, or take a small row boat upstream as far as 1/2 mile. There are some areas suitable for primitive camping by special permit only. Birdwatching is popular, and there is a small hiking trail provided in cooperation with a local conservation club in Manhattan. Although there are no trails marked, you may still enjoy a hike in the areas along either side of the stream also. Fishing is also popular at Pillsbury Crossing, where the fish include channel cat, spotted bass, largemouth bass, bullhead catfish, and carp. |
