Copan State Wildlife Area

The 2360 acre Copan Wildlife Area was made available to the Kansas Forestry Fish and Game Commission under terms of a license with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1981. Appears to be on the Montgomery/Chautauqua County line. The lake is on the Caney River in Oklahoma, to the south.
